Daniel 11 Explained
Condensed “one page” Commentary
(verse by verse)
Rapture 2024
2024 is a strong possibility
I discovered something, recently, that is very exciting to me. I hope I can explain it
adequately enough to make others just as excited. I want to be complete and transparent
without giving so many details that it gets long-winded and dull. We’ll see how that goes.
As always, there’s no guarantee, but several clues all point to 2024.
My discovery came when I was flipping through the online Hebrew calendar and writing down
some dates for the full moons and holidays, which is not unusual for me to do. When I got to
June-2024, I noticed that the Hebrew dates (luni-solar calendar) for the Six-Day War were
falling on the historically proper Gregorian calendar dates (solar calendar) for the same event,
which meant that the Jews would be celebrating Jerusalem Day (capture of East Jerusalem and
the Temple Mount) at the same time as Christians in 2024. I thought that was neat because I
knew it was a rare occurrence. Normally, the Jews are celebrating 1-3 weeks earlier because
of the difference in the luni-solar calendar with the solar calendar. With the dates matching,
it immediately dawned on me that 2024 must be on the same 19-year Metonic Cycle as 1967.
After a quick subtraction, I verified that they are! Then, things got really exciting because I
quickly realized that 1948 is exactly 19-years before 1967, which means they’re both on the
same 19-year Metonic Cycle as 2024! It gets even better below.
For those who are not familiar, the 19-year Metonic Cycle is the time it takes for the earth
and moon to return to approximately the same position in reference to the sun and stars,
after which the pattern starts to repeat. To paint a clearer picture, the sun and stars, for all
practical purposes, are stationary. The earth takes 365.2422 days to rotate the sun, and the
moon takes 29.5306 days to rotate the earth. The two time periods never seem to coincide,
that is until you go out 19-years! The Greek astronomer, Meton, born about 460 BC, is
credited for discovering that 235 lunar orbits is very close to 19 solar years, with a difference
of only 2-hours 5-minutes, which is not much in relation to 19-years. There’s evidence that
the Babylonians knew this relation in the 6th century BC, but it was Meton who devised the
regular pattern of adding seven extra months in years 3, 6, 8, 11, 14, 17, and 19, for a total
of 235 months. That is the same system used today, called the luni-solar calendar, which
includes the Hebrew calendar. Note: If you go to verify the dates and discover that they are
one day off, it’s because the Jews have many rules on adjusting the days, such as adding
a day to one month and subtracting it from another, so that certain holidays won’t land on
certain days of the week. Yet, the fact remains that every 19 years, the earth and moon
return to the same starting point, in reference to the stars, and everything starts to repeat.
The relationship between 1948, 1967, and 2024 naturally made me curious about other
years, most notably the year of creation, which I calculated, years ago, to be 4114 BC.
Obviously, that’s different from what others believe, so let me explain. Old Testament
Biblical dates are converted into modern dates by comparing Assyrian kings records.
Apparently, the Assyrian kings took meticulous records that included natural disasters and
such that can be dated. The best relation to the Bible is when Shalmaneser V of Assyria
defeated the northern kingdom of Israel, in 722 BC, which is recorded in 2nd Kings 17:6
to be the 9th year of King Hoshea’s reign. Once the date for one king is known, all the kings in
the Bible can be found, such as King David (1010–970 BC) and King Solomon (970-930 BC).
The widely accepted dates of King Solomon’s reign allows me to accurately decipher the date
of creation as 4114 BC.
To prove my calculation with scripture, a person can start with 4114 BC and easily subtract
the ages of birth, from Adam to Noah, in Genesis 5:3-28, to find that Noah was born in 3058
BC. Genesis 7:11 says that Noah was 600-years old when the flood came, which would be
2458 BC. Genesis 11:10-26 indicates that Shem was 98-years old when the flood came, and
his son, Arphaxad, was born two years after, so the rest of the birth years can be subtracted
to find that Abraham was born in 2166 BC. Then, it gets a little more difficult to find the
years, but not impossible. Genesis 21:5 says that Abraham was 100-years old when Issac was
born, which would be 2066 BC. Genesis 25:26 says that Issac was 60-years old when Jacob
was born, which would be 2006 BC. Genesis 47:9 indicates that Jacob was 130-years old
when he arrived in Egypt, which would be 1876 BC. Exodus 12:40-41 says that the Israelites
left Egypt exactly 430 years later (to the day), which would be 1446 BC. 1st Kings 6:1
connects the 480th year after the Exodus to Solomon’s 4th year as king, which would be 966 BC.
That date agrees with Assyrian kings records because, as I said in the last paragraph,
Solomon’s reign was 970-930 BC. Therefore, that proves from scripture (and Assyrian
records) that creation was 4114 BC.
So, why is that important? If you calculate the span from 4114 BC to 2024 and subtract
one year for zero, since I’ve heard that calendars generally went from 1 BC to 1 AD, without a
year zero, then you get 6137 years, which is equally divisibly by 19! (see left margin for math)
That means the earth and moon will be in the same general position relative to the stars,
in 2024, as they were in 1948, 1967, and when God created the earth, moon, and stars!
I find that fascinating, especially since God created the sun, moon, and stars “to serve as
signs to mark seasons and days and years …” (Genesis 1:14) In other words, they were
created for humans to tell time by days, months, and years, but God seems to be operating
on a much longer scale of 19-years because that’s when they come back in sync and start
repeating again.
Another year of interest on the same 19-year Metonic Cycle is 29 AD, which could quite
possibly be the year Jesus was crucified, since He was not born in year zero. Using the same
Assyrian records, King Herod is known to have died in 4 BC. Before he died, he commanded
that all Hebrew males, from birth to 2-years old, be killed, so Jesus was likely born around
5 BC. If you calculate the span from 5 BC to 29 AD (and subtract 1 for zero as before), then
you get 33 years, which was Jesus’ approximate age when He was crucified.
Therefore, Creation (4114 BC), Crucifixion (29 AD), Israel’s independence (1948), and
the unification of Jerusalem (1967) are all on the same 19-year Metonic Cycle as 2024!
That’s exciting to me, but some might say, “So what? How does that connect to the rapture?”
Well, I have more to add, but this is a good time to review some previous material and clarify
some things about the rapture.
God called me to study end times by directing my focus to the ‘abomination that causes
desolation’, in the Book of Daniel, as Jesus instructed in Matthew 24:15-21. (below) My focus
has always remained on the abomination, but I also realize that the Bible mentions signs in the
sun, moon, and stars, so when those signs align with signs for the abomination, I take notice,
as I’ve been explaining above.
Matthew 24:15-21
15 "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes
desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel-let the reader understand-
16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the
roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field
go back to get his cloak. … 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled
from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again.
I have a separate page on Matthew 24 with a diagram and more details, but basically,
the rapture happens immediately after the abomination is set up. You can tell that Jesus
is conveying a sense of urgency by His two examples. The abomination and rapture cause
unequaled ‘great distress’ because the ‘post-rapture tribulation’ starts at that time. Then,
Matthew 24:22-31 describes two different groups: the 144,000 Israelites who remain on earth
during the Trumpet Plagues, and the great multitude of Christians who arrive immediately
in heaven for the Wedding Supper of the Lamb. The same two groups are described in
Revelation 7, following the 6th Seal rapture, so having two groups in Matthew 24:22-31 is the
only way end times in Revelation agrees with Jesus’ account in Matthew 24. Additional proof
is found by noticing how Jesus directs those in Judah to flee to the mountains, and there are
people hiding in the mountains, during the 6th Seal, who see Jesus (Lamb) in the sky and
mourn because they realize they messed up. (Rev 6:15-17) When these facts are considered,
there is no question that the rapture happens in conjunction with the abomination that causes
desolation from the Book of Daniel.
Also, there is no question that the rapture is pre-tribulation because the Trumpets can’t start
until the 7th Seal is done, since trumpets literally can’t sound during a “silence.” (Rev 8:1-6)
In other words, the Trumpets and Bowls are definitely after the 7th Seal (Rev 8) and the
multitude of Christians are already in Heaven (Rev 7), after the 6th Seal rapture (Rev 6).
Events during the Trumpets and Bowls are the post-rapture tribulation, not the Seals, as
some people believe, because Seals 1-5 are in the past, Seal 6 is the rapture, and the
Trumpets and Bowls take place after the 7th Seal silence. It’s very simple, but hard to say.
Getting back to the abomination, the Book of Daniel mentions the abomination four times,
in chapters 8, 9, 11, and 12, which are all obviously the same event. Yet, each chapter gives
a different clue about end times. When taken together, they form a timeline for end times that
cannot be altered without excluding vitally important scriptures. Chapters 8 and 12 reference
time periods ‘after’ the abomination and rapture. Daniel 11, which the angel called God’s Book
of Truth, contains a complete timeline of empires in the Middle East, from Daniel’s time until
now. It is the only chapter in the Bible that was specifically “sealed until the time of the end.”
(Dan 12:4) Yet, God never said it would be sealed forever, so He graciously allowed a
nobody like me to unseal it at the proper time. My interpretation is infinitely better than the
old versions, for which there are only two (and one is partially based on the other), because
mine eliminates gaps and shows how the prophecies get more detailed towards the end,
which is what you would expect from a chapter that was ‘sealed until the time of the end’.
Anyway, I have shown how all the verses, through verse 30, have been satisfied or completed,
[see Daniel 11 condensed commentary] so the uprising and abomination, in verse 31 (below),
are the next events to take place, and those events will accompany the rapture.
Daniel 11:31
“His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish
the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.”
That leaves Daniel 9:27 (below), which is Daniel’s only reference to a time period ‘before’
the abomination. However, deciphering the correct interpretation of that time period can be
rather elusive, as you might expect, since the rapture is supposed to be a surprise to most,
but not all. (1 Thess 5:4) The time period is 7-years, which starts with a ‘confirmation of a
covenant with many’. The word ‘covenant’ just means agreement or promise. I am almost
certain that the ‘covenant with many’ was the JCPOA (Iranian nuclear agreement), which
was signed in July-2015 between Iran and the P5+1 (US, UK, France, Russia, China, and
Germany), which is literally ‘many’.
Daniel 9:27 (NIV)
“He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven'
he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing [of the temple] he will set up
an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out
on him.”
I think there is no question that Iran is the main subject of Daniel 9:27 because they are the
primary leader of the final empire, starting in Daniel 11:21, and also the arch enemy of Israel.
It just makes sense. Iran also backs Israel’s other enemies such as Hezbollah (Lebanon) and
the Palestinians (Hamas and Islamic Jihad).
One problem with identifying the 7-years is that it doesn’t just start with the agreement,
but with a ‘confirmation’ of that agreement, which implies a kind of ‘reaffirming’ of some sort.
My best guess was always ‘Implementation Day’, which was 6-months after the signing,
in Jan-2016, when Iran proved they were in compliance and the first sanctions were lifted.
I thought that confirmed the agreement. However, 7-years from Implementation Day has
already passed, Jan-2023, and the abomination was supposed to be in the ‘middle of the
seven’ (NIV) or ‘midst of the seven’ (KJV). I’ve been saying that we must be in ‘overtime’,
which God can do if He so chooses. However, a friend emailed me with another idea, which is
sounding more and more logical as I think about it. In a round-a-bout way, he implied that
Trump’s removal of the US from the nuclear agreement, in May-2018, meant that Iran
essentially ‘confirmed’ the agreement with the other five nations because they never pulled out
like the US. It actually makes sense, which means the 70th Seven could extend to May-2025!
So, we’re not necessarily in ‘overtime’, as I’ve been saying, but we could still be in the
‘midst of the seven’, as the verse says. Of course, that 7-year span would include 2024,
which is on the 19-year Metonic Cycle!
Whew, I just completed a full circle, but I’m not done yet. That brings me back to current
events, which could be leading to a climax in 2024. One of the biggest factors impacting
current events right now is the extreme, far-right government in Israel, which took control
Jan-2023. It’s the most far-right in Israel’s history and comes after a series of inconclusive
elections and failed unity governments, which were possibly prophesied by three Jewish
Kabbalists (mystics). [There are details about the prophecies in the last section.]
This particular government started slow, because they had to pass some laws just to get all
the cabinet positions filled. Then, they had a month-long recess for Passover. After that, they
had to pass a budget because laws stipulate a deadline for the budget, else the government
automatically dissolves. They passed a budget and still had time to pass the most crucial part
of their judicial reform, which was cancelling the High Courts ability to strike down Knesset
laws as being “unreasonable.” The High Court and Knesset are still debating that cancellation.
The Left is saying that the far-right is taking away democracy, but the far-right is saying that
they are restoring democracy, since the High Court is not elected by the people and had
gained too much power. Hearings were held, but the High Court is not expected to render a
decision until 2024. If the High Court tries to “strike down” the Knesset’s new basic law that
“eliminates strike downs,” there will be a real constitutional crisis. If the unelected High
Court did that, it would be the most undemocratic thing Israel could possibly do. I don’t think
the Knesset would stand for that. Anyway, Israel has adopted a temporary ‘war cabinet’,
which is running the government until the war is over, but the far-right government will return
after the war is over and I suspect it will continue with some controversial laws pertaining to
the West Bank and possibly the Temple Mount, which will anger the Palestinians even more.
To give some insight into what laws might pass, let’s consider all the years on the Metonic
Cycle, since Israel became a modern nation: 1948, 1967, 1986, 2005, and 2024. I think the
common denominator is “land,” which makes sense because God promised to “restore the
Israelites to the land He gave their forefathers.” (Jeremiah 16:15) In 1948, Israel declared
independence, which obviously gave them a lot of land. In 1967, the Six-Days War gave them
additional land. To be honest, I can’t find a exact event in 1986, but the 1st Intifada started in
Dec-1987, and one of the primary causes was said to be Israel’s settlement expansionism,
which relates to land. In 2005, Israel took a step backwards regarding land because they
completed their withdrawal from Gaza in Sept-2005. [Note: That withdrawal contributed to
the end of the 2nd Intifada but allowed groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad to arise in Gaza,
which could have some bearing on a future 3rd Intifada, possibly in 2024.] Due to land being
the common factor, I suspect the far-right government will go ahead with annexing the West
Bank settlements and Jordan Valley, in 2024, which could cause the start of the 3rd Intifada.
Of course, I think the 3rd Intifada will be the ‘armed uprising’ in Daniel 11:31, which will
set up the abomination that causes desolation, at which time the rapture will happen.
It seems fitting that it could happen sometime within 2024, which is on the same 19-year
Metonic Cycle as 1948, 1967, the Crucifixion, and God’s creation of the universe.
To fill in some recent history, the possible annexation of the West Bank settlements
and Jordan Valley is based on what Netanyahu planned to do in 2020, but got delayed.
Netanyahu started touting his plans for annexation, in 2019, to garner votes during an
election. Trump’s long-awaited ‘Deal of the Century’ finally came out in Jan-2020 (also to
garner votes), which contained a roadmap for immediate annexation of the settlements and
Jordan Valley, while the Palestinians would work on meeting conditions for statehood that were
literally impossible for them to ever complete. Netanyahu was ready to go ahead with the
annexation, in July 2020, during the first unity government with Gantz, although Gantz was
against it. The disagreement within the Israeli government caused Trump to have cold feet
and not give the final go ahead. The UAE, and later Bahrain, gave Trump the perfect way out
by agreeing to a historic normalization deal with Israel, but on the condition that Netanyahu
shelve the annexation plans. Netanyahu agreed, but insisted all along that the plans were
not dead, but only delayed. The original ‘Deal of the Century’ was supposed to give the
Palestinians four-years to comply with demands, so Netanyahu said he would not go forward
with annexation, at least until Jan-2024. That gives the current far-right government all of
2024 to proceed with annexation, which will continue the 19-year pattern dealing with “land.”
I think the annexation is important because it could be the inspiration needed for the
Palestinians to finally start the 3rd Intifada. After all, there have already been two intifadas
(1987 to 1993 and 2000 to 2005), so a third is due. Some Palestinians have already
called for a third intifada, but the right catalyst is needed. I don’t know the exact scenario
that will play out, but everything will happen when God is ready.
Creation: 4114 BC to 2024 AD:
4114 + 2024 -1 = 6137 years
and 6137 / 19 = 323
(no remainder)
Full Moons in the Bible
Personally, I think there’s a really good chance that the abomination and rapture will happen
‘on or near’ a full moon (within a couple of days) because almost all the biggest events in the
Bible happened near a full moon. [Note: A full moon occurs on the 14th or 15th of the lunar
month because a lunar month averages 29.5 days and starts on a ‘new moon’ (dark).]
For example, the Biblical Flood started on the 17th of the 2nd month (Gen 7:11) and the ark
landed on Mt. Ararat on the 17th of the 7th month (Gen 8:4), which means that the Biblical
Flood started and stopped ‘near’ full moons.
Secondly, God defined the original Passover as being on the 15th of the 1st month
(Exodus 12:6), which started their journey from Egypt. The Israelites reached Mt. Sinai
on the 15th of the 4th month (Exodus 19:1), so their journey to visit God both started and
stopped on full moons, just like the flood. Then, God descended on Mt. Sinai with fire
and thunder on the 3rd day, which was the 17th of the 4th month, still ‘near’ the full moon.
Of course, Jesus was crucified on the morning of Passover, which was the 15th of the
1st month, and raised on the 3rd day, which was the 17th, very similar to God’s appearance
on Mt. Sinai.
Another example is when the Israelites began marching around Jericho, on the 15th of
the 1st month (Josh 5:10), which essentially ended their journey and began their conquest of
the Promised Land. That means, the 40-year Exodus began and ended on full moons.
Additionally, Purim is near a full moon because the war that it commemorates was on the
14th and 15th of the 12th month. (Esther 9:21)
Plus, God also defined the Feast of Tabernacles as starting on the 15th of the 7th month,
which is a full moon. (Lev 23:34) The Feast of Tabernacles is the only feast that is specifically
mentioned as being celebrated during Jesus’ 1000-year reign on earth. (Zech 14:16-19)
Plus, if the 6th Seal rapture happens near a full moon, then the Seals would also start and
stop near full moons, since Seal 1 was the resurrection (17th), and Seals 6 and 7 happen on
the same day.
Plus, if the 6th Seal rapture happens ‘on or near’ a full moon, then the Seals would also start
and stop near full moons, since Seal 1 was the resurrection (17th), and Seals 6 and 7 happen
on the same day. Consequently, If that happens, the 2300-day ‘post-rapture tribulation’
would also start and stop ‘on or near’ full moons because 2300-days is almost exactly
78-lunar months (within 1-day). Therefore, based on Bible history, there’s a very good
chance that the abomination and rapture could happen ‘on or near’ a full moon, which would
continue the trend. I mean, it makes sense to me because God used full moons for the
Flood and Exodus, in the beginning, so why not the Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls, at the end?
Current Events: Israel at War
In the previous section, I wrote a lot about annexation in 2024 being a possible cause
for the uprising that sets up the abomination. That’s still possible, even more so after the
attack by Hamas. In a way, it’s all connected.
I mean, the normalization with UAE and Bahrain successfully delayed the annexation from
2020 to 2024, so Saudi Arabia thought they could do the same thing to delay it even more.
The deal that was developing was much more complicated than the previous normalizations
because the Palestinians were getting involved, as well as the United States. Thus, it was a
four-way deal, instead of just two. Briefly, Saudi Arabia wanted a military pact with the
United States in the event of an Iranian attack, access to more advanced weapons, and help
with developing a nuclear program. Biden wanted a foreign policy win before the 2024
election that he could frame as not only a win for Israel, but also a stab at China. That’s
because the Israeli/Saudi normalization was the last piece needed to complete a trade route
from India to Europe (through UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Israel) to compete with China’s
“Belt and Road” Initiative. Israel would benefit ‘socially’ by being recognized by a leader
among Muslim countries, and ‘economically’ by virtue of their Haifa port being the last leg of
the new trade route. The Palestinians saw an opportunity and made several ‘requests’ that
were simply unattainable. Saudi Arabia pledged to restore payments of $200 million/year to
the Palestinians, but that was the only thing that was ever agreed upon. Right away, Saudi
Arabia abandoned hopes of an immediate two-state solution, and declared that their objective,
besides delaying annexation, was to "ease the life of the Palestinians." Earlier in 2023,
Netanyahu dismissed the possibility of any Palestinian concessions being part of the deal with
Saudi Arabia. Israel’s Heritage Minister, Amichai Eliyahu, from the far-right Otzma Yehudit
party, earlier suggested that they go ahead with annexation because that would be better
than normalization with the Saudis. I think the Palestinians could already see that
negotiations would not go their way. Plus, Iran was adamantly against the normalization
because it possibly meant that Israel could attack from Saudi Arabia where they would be
harder to defend against. The attack by Hamas not only delayed normalization, it delayed
everything because Israel was forced to adopt a temporary ‘war cabinet’ for the government
and agree that they would not discuss other issues until the war was over. Yet, the war won’t
last forever and the issue of annexation will come up again.
From a Biblical prophecy standpoint, the attack by Hamas fulfilled Paul’s prophecy: “While
people are saying ‘peace and safety’, destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains
on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” (1 Thess 5:3) That prophecy applies
because Israel was talking ‘peace and safety’ with Saudi Arabia when the deadly attack came.
I mean, one of the most shocking aspects of the attack, apart from the brutality, was the fact
that Israeli intelligence was caught completely off guard, but that’s exactly what the prophecy
implies. The attack or destruction from 1 Thess 5:3 didn’t bring the rapture, but I think it was
a key event leading to the abomination and rapture. I mean, just like talks of normalization
‘peace and safety’ led to the attack ‘destruction’, that destruction led to the Gaza War, which
is leading to such a humanitarian disaster that Israel is being pressured more that ever to
come up with a two-state solution. Of course, I don’t think any solution that Israel comes up
with will please the Palestinians, which could lead to the uprising that sets up the abomination.
Thus, the prophecy fulfillment of 1 Thess 5:3 obviously wasn’t the rapture, but it was a key
event to keep things headed in that direction.
One interesting coincidence about the attack is that it came almost exactly on the
50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, which started 10-6-1973. A friend emailed me and
asked if it could have something to do with the 50-year Jubilee in the Bible. I’m not sure, but
it’s interesting that God told them to sound the trumpet on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement)
to signify the start of Jubilee (Lev 25:9) and the two wars started 50-years apart, on or near
Yom Kippur. That’s interesting, but I’m still not sure 1973 and 2023 are Jubilee years
because there’s almost no reference to the Israelis ever celebrating a Jubilee year in the Bible.
In other words, there’s nothing to calculate from except the year God gave the original
instructions to Moses, which was the year of the Exodus. From my own timeline, the Exodus
was 1446 BC, which puts the last Jubilee year at 2005 (1446 + 2005 -1), which is interesting
because that’s on the same 19-year Metonic cycle as 1948 and 1967. It’s like the Jubilee and
Metonic cycle converged in 2005. It’s interesting because that’s the year Israel gave Gaza
back to the Palestinians, and God’s Jubilee in the Bible is all about returning land to the
original owner. (Lev 25:13,28) And Gaza was a city owned by the Philistines (Josh 13:3) from
whom the Palestinians are thought to have descended. I mean, it sounds like God had the
return of Gaza planned, without which Hamas couldn’t have grown stronger and staged their
attack on the 50th anniversary, which fulfilled Paul’s prophecy. I mean, it all seems connected.
One reason I think this attack could be leading to the uprising that sets up the abomination
is another Bible prophecy from Jesus: “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies,
you will know that its desolation is near.” (Luke 21:20) The attack from Hamas came from
the south, but it led to confrontations with Hezbollah in the north. That situation is still
developing and could grow. The direction I think is most important is from the West Bank
because an uprising from there has the greatest chance to reach Jerusalem and the Temple
Mount, where the abomination will be set up. If you look at a map (left), the West Bank
almost surrounds Jerusalem by itself, so I think an uprising from there is crucial in setting up
the abomination. Yet, the attack by Hamas has directly contributed to a rise in violence in the
West Bank. Most of the violence, right now, is due to settlers attacking Palestinians, perhaps
because Israel’s National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, distributed 10,000 firearms,
as well as combat gear, protective vests and helmets, to Israeli civilians in the West Bank,
thus creating what he called “civilian standby units.” However, from initial reports, it sounds
like he gave angry settlers a license to kill Palestinians with no repercussions. (more below)
Eventually, it could provoke the Palestinians in the West Bank to stage a similar attack to
Oct 7th, but near the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
In fact, a member of Hamas’ politburo, Ghazi Hamad, declared in late-Oct that the terror
group intends to perpetrate further massacres akin to October 7th, if only given the chance,
until Israel is destroyed. Hamas’ leader, Ismail Haniyeh, followed up, about a week later, in
a televised address to say that Hamas is ready to negotiate, but only after a cease-fire and
humanitarian relief. Then, they would accept a two-state solution with East Jerusalem as the
capital of Palestine. If you have followed Israeli politics at all, you would know that Haniyeh’s
request is a complete joke, especially in light of the Oct 7th attack. Thus, the statement by
Ghazi Hamad is closer to reality, and their true intentions. Of course, Israel is being especially
diligent and has the West Bank on complete lock-down at the moment. Yet, they are getting
international pressure, including from the US, in regards to their treatment of the Palestinians,
so the Gaza War and West Bank lock-down can’t last forever. If Hamas successfully
coordinated the Oct 7th attack with about 3000 attackers, without Israel finding out ahead
of time, then they might be able to use whatever method again to plan another, this time
near the Temple Mount. It may take some time, but like I’ve said, I don’t expect it until 2024.

Illustration of the three
Kabbalist prophecies
-
#2. Jewish Kabbalists prophecies
To be clear, the following three prophecies are not in the Bible, but Moses once said that
you can tell if a prophecy is from God or not by waiting to see if it comes true. (Deut 18:22)
Well, elements of the first two prophecies have already come true, so they’re worth a mention.
The third prophecy is kind of vague, which I explain below.
As for the legitimacy of the prophecies, they gained notoriety in 2019/2020 when Israel
was forced into three consecutive elections before a majority coalition could be formed.
However, they were written long before that. I became aware of them through an article
describing the early years of Rabbi Eliyahu Merav when he saw Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri [1898(?)
– Jan 28, 2006] taking questions, 40-years ago. Someone asked him when the Moshiach
(Messiah) would arrive and whether there would be signs. Kaduri answered, ‘When there will
be elections but there will not be a government’. Rabbi Meray never forgot that statement
because it seemed impossible, but 40-years later, Israel’s unprecedented need for 3 elections
fulfilled Kaduri’s prophecy. Plus, after Kaduri’s original book was found in the Kabbalistic
school of Nahalat Yitzhak, one can see that the prophecy also included the correct year.
Prophecy #1 – Kaduri
"On the eve of the year 5780, the year of corrections [Sept-2019 to Sept-2020],
there will not be a government in Israel for an extended period and the various camps
will quarrel much without a decision on either side, and then, on Rosh Hashanah [the
Jewish new year] itself, they will fight in heaven, the holy side against the side of evil,
and G-d and His entourage will decide between them."
In the same book, Kaduri referenced another Kabbalist, Rabbi Shoshani, who prophesied:
Prophecy #2 – Shoshani
"There will come on the day that two ministers win the government in the land of
Israel. Both their names will be Benjamin and neither of them will succeed in
establishing their government or kingship. On that day, know and understand that
the King Messiah already stands at the doorway and on the Sabbath afterwards
he will come and be revealed. Understand this and remember it."
There’s also a third Kabbalist prophecy from Rabbi Kisma that could be related to the others
(if the ‘gates’ represent the Israeli governments).
Prophecy #3 – Kisma
When asked about the coming messiah, Kisma answered, “When this gate falls down,
is rebuilt, falls again, and is again rebuilt, and then falls a third time, before it can be
rebuilt the son of David will come.” (Sanhedrin Tractate 98a)
As I said, Kaduri had the correct year and the basic premise of elections but no government.
The Hebrew year 5780 corresponds to Sept 30, 2019 – Sept 18, 2020. Elections were
scheduled for Nov-2019, but the government fell early due to disagreements about military
service for ultra-orthodox and corruption charges for Netanyahu. Therefore, snap elections
were scheduled for April 9, 2019, which was the eve of 5780.
Shoshani’s prophecy had many things correct because the three consecutive elections were
between “two Benjamins”: Netanyahu and Gantz. You could say they both won because both
their parties got 35 seats in the first election. Yet, neither could establish a majority coalition.
So, after the third election, they formed a unity government where Netanyahu would serve as
prime minister for 18-months and Gantz would serve for 18-months. However, the unity
government only lasted 7+months, so Gantz never got a chance. One part of Shoshani’s
prophecy that always bothered me was the “Sabbath afterwards.” Someone recently emailed
me and suggested that it could mean ‘Sabbath year’ rather than ‘Sabbath day’, but Israel had
its last Sabbath year from Sept 7, 2021 to Sept 25, 2022, so I don’t know. Like I said, the
prophecies are not Biblical, just interesting because they are at least partially right.
Kisma’s prophecy is more vague, but it has been suggested that the “gates” could represent
‘governments’, during the many elections, which sounds valid since the other two prophecies
also related to ‘elections’. However, as time has passed, I’m not sure about the Kisma
prophecy because I’m not sure how to count the gates or governments. Yet, I think it was
somewhat right because the elections and failed governments ultimately led to the current
far-right government, which is the most far-right ever in Israel’s history. I think the far-right
government started making changes that led to the Hamas attack on 10-7-2023, which could
lead to the uprising that sets up the abomination, as explained above.
Note: Here’s a quick summary of the election dates and Hebrew calendar years. Before the
1st fall and many elections, Israel’s government had been functioning for about 4-years, since
May-2015. That’s why the correct prediction for the 1st fall and inconclusive elections was
unmistakable and phenomenal, especially since Kaduri made his prediction over 40-years ago,
and died in 2006.
Hebrew Year 5780 = Sept 30, 2019 – Sept 18, 2020
1st 3 Elections [eve of 5780]: (1) April 9, 2019; (2) Sept 17, 2019; (3) March 2, 2020
1st unity government of Netanyahu/Gantz = May 17, 2020 to Dec 23, 2020 (fall #2)
Next election: March 23, 2021
2nd unity government of Bennett/Lapid = June 13, 2021 to June 30, 2022 (fall #3)
Update: The new far-right government was sworn in Dec 29, 2022.

West Bank Violence
There has been a remarkable uptick in West Bank violence over the last weeks, months,
and years, but the vast majority has not been from the Palestinians. As I’ve reported before,
an article posted Sept 6th by Yousef Fares in The Cradle celebrated the fact that Palestinian
resistance fighters had increased their attacks from ‘5’ in 2022 to ‘9’ in the first 8-months
of 2023, killing ‘13’ Israelis. Granted, that’s bad, but it pales in comparison to the number of
Palestinians killed in the West Bank by soldiers and settlers. In 2022, ‘158’ Palestinians were
killed in the West Bank [13/month], marking the worst level of violence since the end of the
2nd Intifada. From Jan 1st - Oct 6th, 2023, ‘197’ Palestinians were killed in the West Bank
[22/month]. After the attack on Oct 7th (as of Nov 3rd), ‘132’ Palestinians have been killed,
in less than one month, marking a 6-fold increase from the already high levels of 2023.
So, what’s my point? Although Israel has the right to defend itself and try to prevent
future attacks, the increased violence is just provoking the Palestinians to fight back because
they are desperate and have nothing to lose.
One area of concentration for the Israeli military is the Jenin refugee camp, which was
created in 1948 and currently houses 10,000 Palestinians. An airstrike on Oct 22nd destroyed
the Al-Ansar Mosque, which Israel said was a command center for terrorists planning attacks.
That was followed by a drone attack and another raid, killing 11 Palestinians in a week.
On Oct 30th, to add insult to injury, Israel used bulldozers to dig up streets in Jenin.
Now, you could say they were preventing future attacks, but they are also provoking
anger to stoke future attacks, so there’s a fine line that is becoming increasingly blurry.
Netanyahu has now made clear that the Israel/Gaza War will not end until Hamas is
completely out of power and disarmed. Netanyahu says that Israel will maintain security
control of Gaza indefinitely. He also said that it might take a few months to do that.
That’s interesting to me because it basically means that Gaza will be changing hands in 2024,
thus keeping with the Metonic cycle theme of ‘land transfer’, right on schedule. In other
words, whether any annexation happens in the West Bank or not, the Metonic cycle theme
of ‘land transfer’ will still happen on schedule, which is uncanny. In fact, Israel’s return to
Gaza is almost a complete reversal of the 2005 abandonment, 19-years, or one cycle later.
To me, that’s just one sign that God is in complete control and doing things on His schedule.
People keep asking who will take administrative control of Gaza, after the war, because
Israel doesn’t want that, only security control. The neighboring Arab countries don’t want it
either. The PA and PLO (PA’s parent org) are acting like they have a golden ticket because
everyone is pointing at them as the likely choice. As such, they are making outlandish and
impossible demands. The secretary general of the PLO, Hussein al-Sheikh, told Biden that
America would have to commit to a “full-fledged two state solution” and force Israel to abide
by it, including Israel’s withdrawal from the West Bank and a resolution on the status of East
Jerusalem. The PA president, Mahmoud Abbas, had similar demands, wanting “international
guarantees” and a timetable for Israel’s withdrawal from Palestinian territories, leading to a
Palestinian state on pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. They might as well
ask for ‘the moon on a silver platter’ because the chance of getting that is about the same.
Netanyahu’s far-right government will return after the war is over and naturally refuse any
and all demands from the Palestinians. Where it goes from there is just speculative. Saudi
Arabia has said that they are still willing to make a deal on normalization, but Israel is not
likely to include concessions to the Palestinians, so ... ? I think Israel’s far-right government
will still push ahead with annexation, whether part of a deal or not, if only out of spite.
Like I’ve said, I don’t know the exact scenario, but something will make the Palestinians
mad and desperate enough to stage an uprising near the Temple Mount and set up the
abomination. I don’t think we will know the exact cause until the war is over and Israel
refuses the Palestinian’s requests for a two-state solution. If any solution is offered, it
definitely won’t be ‘pre-1967 lines’ as the Palestinians want, but will likely be closer to
Trump’s ‘deal of the century’, which allowed Israel to immediately annex the settlements
and Jordan Valley, since those will never be on the negotiating table. The Palestinians got
economic promises, but no state until they met a series of conditions. Even then, it would be
a limited state because Israel would provide military security for both. Trump’s ‘deal of the
century’ was panned as being bias towards Israel, but that’s about all the Palestinians are
going to get. The Palestinians have always insisted on having East Jerusalem as their capital,
which is never going to happen. Perhaps that realization will be the final straw to cause an
attack on the Temple Mount. Perhaps it will be something else such as the far-right
government wanting to change the status quo on the Temple Mount. I think we will have
to wait and see what the far-right government does when they resume control. Yet, I think
we will see soon enough because I think the Metonic cycle of 2024 is part of God’s timing.
